MSVL Group, a leading provider of recruitment and HR consulting services, is seeking an experienced Accountant for its operations in Mombasa. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Payables
Manage invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
Perform reconciliations and maintain aging reports.
Maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform bank and inventory reconciliations.
Coordinate audits and prepare tax documentation.
Prepare comprehensive financial and management reports.
Cash Flow & Controls
Monitor payment schedules and maintain proper documentation workflows.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA(K) qualification is mandatory.
5-6 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in FMCG, distribution, or HORECA industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of AR, AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Candidates based in or familiar with the Mombasa market are preferred.
