Role Summary
Mediacrest Training College is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing budgets, overseeing fee collections, processing payments, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. The role also supports audit processes, maintains compliance with accounting standards, and contributes to overall financial planning for the institution.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies Required:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Section 4 or higher is required (CPA-K certification is an added advantage).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax laws in Kenya. Proficiency in accounting software is required.
Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities, coupled with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
